Maintenance
- Regularly oiling with some grapeseed oil deepens the color and extends the lifespan of the wood. This makes the wood less porous and susceptible to absorbing bacteria-laden liquids from the food prepared or served on it.
- Easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth
- Do not immerse the board completely in the water, and certainly not in the dishwasher.
- If the smell of onions or garlic persists, or if the board has stubborn stains, you can clean it with a little white vinegar or a little lemon juice. This is also effective against bacteria and is perfect for use on food surfaces. Afterwards, rub it again with some grapeseed oil.
