Combine a love for craft and craftsmanship with leather, and you have Xapron. Owner Peter Vrins came up with the name Xapron because of his fondness for artisanal, handmade leather products. He therefore added an X (kiss) to the English name for apron.
Since 2015, we have been producing artisanal BBQ aprons and various leather accessories. The leather aprons are perfect for use in professional restaurant kitchens or in the home kitchen, whether for barbecuing or DIY projects. The designs come from our own design team and are then crafted in an artisanal way in our leather atelier… by hand and with a keen eye for detail.

The leather we use is sourced from Italy and selected to meet our demanding specifications. The leather undergoes our self-developed special treatment. For this reason, our aprons are remarkably light and flexible. Therefore, a Xapron apron is not only comfortable to wear; thanks to the suppleness of the leather, all aprons drape beautifully around every body.
Leather has been worked in Waalwijk since the end of the 18th century. Our aprons are still made here by hand by experienced craftsmen. This ensures that good craftsmanship is preserved. And the same applies to the beautiful tanneries in the vicinity of Waalwijk.
That is why we attach a small orange pennant to the label of every apron. For recognition, and because we are proud of our Dutch product.
